Climbing in the Sierra Nevada provides many varying degrees of challenge, from simply hiking up the side of a mountain, to technical climbing over bare rock, to climbing an ice filled couloir with ice axes and crampons. Sometimes, just getting there to do the climb is a significant part of the challenge. Here are some people who are getting out there and doing it.
